2009
12-28 WPW: I have posted some comments about my first semester of college teaching over on the weblog.
12-6 HSF: We are going to take the rest of December off due to the end of my teaching semester. On January 1st regular posting will resume with, hopefully, a brand new design on the domain.
9-21 WPW: I have posted some comments about the first few weeks of college teaching over on the weblog.
9-8 WPW: I have posted a deleted portion of the intro to my MA thesis discussing my digital humanities origin story over on the weblog.
8-12 WPW: I will be teaching two freshman writing courses at one of the local community colleges this fall. I will post more details over on the weblog.
7-27 SN: The Signifying Nothing Top 100 of the Nineties list is now online. A link can be found on the weblog.
7-20 SN: I have republished the now defunct Hardware Media & Radio’s interview with me from back in 2006 about Signifying Nothing. Thanks to Dave K for letting me put this back on the Internet.
7-13 HSF: You can now become a “fan” of this Web Site on Facebook. I will pipe content through there and also try to do some advertising for upcoming hardcore shows. This Web Site should be about modern hardcore as much as it is about old school hardcore at all times.
5-26 WPW: I have posted a link to my completed MA Thesis over on the weblog.
5-17 HSF: Regular flyer updates will begin again later today. I do apologize for taking a few weeks off, but I was finishing up graduate school and things just got really hectic for a bit.
5-8 WPW: I have posted my comments from our spring symosium over on the weblog.
5-6 WPW: I am happy to announce that I defended my MA thesis on Monday morning. Overall, it went well with some lively discussion about my work. I am happy to be done: the writing process has been difficult and very trying at times. There are some things about the process, and the constraints of an English program, which I did not forsee. Graduate school ended up involving a lot of things I did not want it to when I began back in January of 2007. It’s become quite clear that I will not be heading towards a PhD, but in some other direction yet to be determined. A link to what I read on Monday can be found on the weblog.
4-24 WPW: Coming in September I will be publishing an interview in Transformative Works & Culture with Dr. Angela Thomas about her work on the Virtual Macbeth project in Second Life.
4-23 WPW: I am happy to announce my participation in this semester’s graduate symposium for our English program at Monmouth. This semester I will be taking part in a round table discussion about academic writing and publishing.
