Forever Geek is reporting that the new Sony E-Book Reader has been announced. I love E-Books; a lot of things I read online end up as PDF files so I can read them when I want. I would love to have a good, portable, E-Book Reader that allowed me to view e-books, txt files, PDF files, etc. As Forever Geek notes, $300 is still very pricey for such a device. That is a lot of paperbacks! When this thing goes down even further in price, I’ll be first in line. However, until then, I can’t get behind it.
Google Maps
In case you have not heard yet, Google Maps is a new service brought to you by the people at Google. I have always had a bad experience with mapping sites online. Numerous times I have have gotten even more lost than my total lack of natural direction gets me by using them. Google Maps gives you real time mapping and real time updating. You can also search for local businesses with it. Sounds like a good tool.
