LIT208

This course focuses on British literature from the Romantic to the contemporary period. It emphasizes critical reading and analysis of selected fiction, poetry, drama, and essays.

Most Recent Syllabus Fall 2021

Typically I break this course up into three modules…

  • Works of literature that engage with the rise of modern technology

  • Works of literature that focus on the changing roles of women

  • Miscellaneous works of literature that cover other aspects of the era. I would like to expand this for four modules in the future with a new one focusing directly on minorities during the era.
